Ordering & policies
Plain-language terms for ordering from Inscripta. Last updated November 2026.
1. Placing an order
Orders placed on this website are requests for custom work. An order is confirmed when you approve the digital proof we send by email or WhatsApp. Prices shown are starting prices in Jamaican dollars; The listed standard size, material and personalization are included. Larger sizes, additional print areas and bespoke designs require a separate quote, which you must approve before production.
2. Proofs & approval
We send a proof for every order. Please check spelling, names, dates, and layout carefully — we produce exactly what you approve. Corrections after approval may incur a remake fee.
3. Payment
Payment is due in full on pickup or on delivery, by cash or bank transfer. Bulk and corporate orders over J$25,000 may require a 50% deposit before production. No card details are collected on this website.
4. Turnaround
Typical turnaround is 2–5 business days from proof approval, as listed on each product. Bulk and intricate work may need longer. Turnaround starts when the proof is approved, not when the order is placed. Rush service is available on request and may carry a surcharge.
5. Pickup & delivery
Pickup is free from Kingston, Jamaica during opening hours (Mon–Sat · 9am–6pm). Island-wide courier delivery is J$800, paid to the courier. Orders not collected within 30 days of being ready may be discarded.
6. Cancellations & changes
You may cancel or change an order free of charge at any time before proof approval. After approval, materials have been committed and cancellation may not be possible.
7. Remakes & refunds
If your item differs from the approved proof or arrives damaged, tell us within 7 days and we will remake it free of charge. Because every item is custom-made, we cannot refund for change of mind or for errors present in an approved proof.
8. Customer-supplied items
When you bring your own item, we inspect it before starting and will tell you if the material is unsuitable. We take great care, but laser engraving and heat pressing carry a small inherent risk on items we did not source — we are not able to replace customer-supplied items that are damaged during production. Items must be dropped off within 14 days of proof approval.
9. Your files & designs
By uploading artwork you confirm you have the right to use it. We do not reproduce copyrighted logos, characters, or brands without permission. We may photograph finished pieces for our portfolio unless you ask us not to.
10. Privacy
We collect your name, email, phone number, and delivery address only to fulfil your order and contact you about it. We do not sell or share your details. Artwork is kept privately and deleted 90 days after your order or quote is closed. Our email, courier and security providers receive only the information needed to deliver those services. Security checks use Cloudflare Turnstile.
